A statement issued by the branches of political parties in Mukalla - Hadhramawt Governorate

The political parties in Hadhramawt Governorate condemn in the strongest terms the horrific terrorist massacre committed by the Houthi criminal terrorist militia in Radaa Directorate - Al-Baydha Governorate. This massacre, which occurred on Tuesday Ramadan 9, 1445 AH corresponding to March 19, 2024 AD, resulted in dozens of martyrs and wounded, most of whom were women, children, and the elderly. This massacre is no less horrific than the crimes committed by the Zionist occupation.

The commission of this heinous crime is conclusive evidence of the deviant culture, criminal tendency, and aggressive behavior followed by this militia, which did not care about the sanctity of blood or the sanctity of the days of the blessed month of Ramadan. Therefore, the political parties in the Governorate call on all Yemenis to strengthen the spirit of resistance and stand together in resisting this systematized crime that violates the teachings of our religion, customs, and traditions and violates international humanitarian law and human rights conventions.

They also call on the Presidential Leadership Council to quickly resolve the battle in order to restore the state, end the coup, and rid the Yemeni people of this nightmare.

The political parties in the Governorate call on the international community and human rights organizations to condemn these criminal acts committed by the militias against the people of Radaa city, in addition to their aggressive terrorist behavior, which has become a threat to regional and international security. Also, political parties call on them to support the legitimate Government in order to get rid of this danger.

We ask God Almighty to have mercy on the martyrs of this massacre, and we offer our sincere condolences and sympathy to their families and relatives.
