The text of the statement:

In its meeting, the Presidency of the Council of the Parliament discussed this afternoon, August 21, 2019, the developments in Aden and Abyan governorates, the targeting of state institutions, the establishment of a new reality of political and societal division, targeting citizens based on regional and political belongs, assaulting state institutions and their various headquarters, encroachment upon the regime and the law, an assault on social peace, public tranquility, rights and freedoms and the resultant housebreaking, looting, killing and displacement were carried out by the militias of the United Arab Emirates-backed Southern Transitional Council for the purpose of controlling and trying to impose a De facto that brings the country back to the cycle of conflicts, bloodshed, cases of division, the wrong mobilization and creating a crack in the social structure. All these violations were carried out in the service of the Iranian-backed Houthi coup project as well as keeping the legitimate authority headed by President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi and the Arab Alliance led by Saudi Arabia away from their role in overthrowing the coup, restoring the state and eliminating the Iranian project and then dragging the legitimacy and the Alliance into other useless conflicts and battles.

At the time the Presidency of the Council of the Parliament discussing all developments, it also emphasizes the following:

1- The Presidency of the Council confirms its support to the constitutional legitimacy under the leadership of His Excellency President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi.

2. Conducting a comprehensive national reconciliation that rebuilds state institutions and works to stop the human tragedies experienced by our country and people since the coup of Houthi militias.

3 - The Presidency of the Council calls upon President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi to use his constitutional authority to review relations with the Arab Alliance to restore the state and warns against the deviation from its objectives from the battle to restore the state to go along with small projects.

4. The Presidency of the Council condemns the control of the State institutions by armed groups of the Southern Transitional Council and instructs the Government to confront it as well as confront the armed rebellion by all means authorized by the Constitution and the law and in a manner that achieves an end to the rebellion and the normalization of the situation in the interim capital Aden.

5. Stressing the implementation of what was included in the statement of the Arab Alliance issued on 10 August. The Presidency of the Council highly appreciates the position of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on the situation in Yemen and the recent developments in particular and its repercussions and at the same time, it trusts that the role of the Kingdom is important in the process of stability of Yemen and maintaining its republican system, unity, security, stability, sovereignty and its territorial integrity. What we register for our brothers is their prominent role in the face of the Houthi coup from its beginning and since the new rebellion came out of its bottle in the interim capital Aden, affirming to support the legitimate authority and reject the rebellion and what resulted of it to what will result of risks to the national security and local and regional peace, the growing threat of groups of violence and extremism and the worsening of the human suffering of citizens in contravention of international law, Security Council resolutions and the objectives of the Alliance to Support Legitimacy.

6. The Presidency of the Council stresses the need for the government to fulfill its duties towards the recent events, put an end to the collapse of state institutions and protect them and ensure the continuation of reaching public services to citizens.

7. The Presidency of the Council calls for reviewing all the imbalances that have occurred in order to ensure the restoration of the unified national project to face the coup, restore the state and preserve the unity of the national territory. The Presidency of the Council also calls for a review of the relationship with the Arab Alliance and warns against the deviation of its objectives from the battle of restoring the state to cope with small projects that may lead to the disruption of the unity of the country and complicate the possibility of reaching solutions to the Yemeni issue and drag the entire region into conflict and dangers will be costly and its consequences on the security of the region is catastrophic and terrifying.

8. The Presidency of the Council warns of the danger of the mobilization of people targeting the unity and territorial integrity of Yemen and the legitimacy authority led by President Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi and its other legitimate institutions. Any laxity or identification of any Alliance states with the insurgency is seen by the militias as transit carpets and a license of their actions.

9. The Presidency of the Council affirms the rejection of all calls and attempts to fragment and divide national unity and calls for deterring all efforts aimed at making changes in the unified Yemen map. The Presidency of the Council asserts that solutions to all issues are included in the national dialogue document and Federal Yemen. And those are looking for otherwise, is a futile act, wasting time, tearing up national cohesion and distracting people from resisting the Iranian project and its gang from the Houthi coup.

10.The Presidency of the Council of Representatives appreciates the role of the brothers in Saudi Arabia and calls on them to exert more efforts to overcome the current situation and unite the efforts of all political and community components to fight the first enemy of the Yemeni people, the Houthi militias and their Iranian-backed project that threatens the security of the region and the world.

11. The Presidency of the Council of Representatives calls on His Excellency President Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi, President of the Republic, to take all appropriate decisions to topple the insurgency and the resultant situation and restore it to the natural status and uphold the supremacy of the Constitution, the law and the supreme national interest.

12. The Presidency of the Council appreciates the position of the League of Arab States and brothers and friends who stood with the constitutional legitimacy under the leadership of His Excellency President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi and condemned the rebellion and any manipulation of Yemen's unity, security, stability and its territorial integrity.
