Text of the statement

The Yemeni Islah Party in the interim capital of Aden welcomes the positions of the leadership of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia alongside the Yemeni people in all fields and their successive interests in seeking to improve services and infrastructure, in particular the grant of oil derivatives presented by His Highness Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman, amounting to 422 million dollars as part of the Kingdom's efforts to alleviate the suffering of citizens by operating power stations, expressing its thanks and appreciation for the support and assistance provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Yemen in its ordeal resulting from the war and the Iranian-backed Houthi coup.

The Islah party calls on the government of competencies and the local authority to play their role in improving the economic and living conditions of citizens in light of the remarkable deterioration of the standard of living, the deterioration of the national currency, the faltering in the payment of salaries, the rise in food prices and the decline in basic services in the interim capital of Aden.

The Islah Party also calls for the necessity to redouble efforts and provide the basic capabilities to confront the second wave of the Coronavirus, which requires uniting all efforts. At the same time, he salutes the great and powerful role that the health sector plays with all its cadres.

The Islah Party reiterates the need to close ranks, coordinate positions and efforts, enhance capabilities to confront the Houthi coup militia, and support the National Army and popular resistance on all fronts of the fighting.

 And it salutes the heroes of the National Army and the tribes who are in the forefront of the scene today in Al-Dhali', Taiz, Marib, Al-Jawf and Hajjah, as they stand up to the Iranian project and stand with all their strength defending the land, the identity and the Yemeni and Arab cause in the face of the tools of Iranian terrorism.

Regarding the security situation in the city of Aden, the Islah Party stresses the need to complete the implementation of the security and military part of the Riyadh Agreement, in a way that strengthens the state’s authorities and agencies and overcomes errors and imbalances. It expressed Its condemnation of all forms of violations targeting civil and trade union society in Aden, reiterating its demand for the security authorities to disclose the forcibly disappeared and illegally detained persons.

The Islah Party begins the advent of the blessed month of Ramadan by congratulating the people of Aden and calling for getting benefit from the great lessons and sublime meanings of this blessed month in giving every good thing to the needy, cooperating to serve the community and relieving the suffering of the people, asking God Almighty to prevail goodness and peace to the Governorate of Aden and all the governorates of the beloved homeland.
