The Chairman of the Supreme Authority of the Yemeni Islah Party, Mr. Muhammad Abdullah al-Yadumi, met with Lieutenant-General Fahd As-Salman, Commander of the Joint Forces of the Arab Coalition to Support Legitimacy, in the Saudi capital, Riyadh.

The meeting, which was also attended by the Secretary-General of the Yemeni Islah Party, Abdul-Wahhab al-Anisi, and members of the Supreme Authority, Abdul-Razzaq al-Hijri, and Ahmed al-Qumairi, discussed several issues of common interest and developments at various levels.

Al-Yadumi congratulated Lieutenant General As-Salman on his appointment as Commander of the Joint Forces Command, wishing him success in his mission.

Al-Yadumi offered condolences on behalf of the Islah Party to the Joint Forces and the Saudi forces for the martyrdom of Saudi officers in a treacherous attack in Seiyun last November.

Al-Yadumi praised the support of the brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdul-Aziz, and his Crown Prince and Prime Minister, His Royal Highness Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdul-Aziz, for Yemen and its legitimacy in various fields, as well as their keenness to alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people, achieve their aspirations to end the coup of the terrorist Houthi militia, and restore state institutions, security, stability, peace, and development.

The Islah leadership thanked the Joint Forces leadership for the support it provided to the Yemeni forces in confronting the terrorist Houthi militias over the past years.

For his part, the Commander of the Joint Forces praised the role of the Yemeni national forces, foremost of which is the Islah Party, noting the Islah Party's keenness to unify the national forces and its well-known positions in strengthening the preservation of the Yemeni and Arab identity.

Lieutenant General As-Salman reiterated the Kingdom's continued support for Yemen until the state is restored and security and stability are achieved.
