The Prime Minister:  UN's overlook policy encouraged the Houthi militia to continue violating the agreements

The Prime Minister, Dr. Moeen Abdel Malek, emphasized that the overlook policy followed by the international and failure to take a clear and deterrent stance towards the escalation of the Houthi coup militia as well as its rejection of all opportunities for a political solution aimed at alleviating the suffering of citizens, encouraged it to continue further, indicating that the UN Envoy's overlook to plundering the revenues of the Central Bank by the Houthi militias in Hodeidah, which represents a breach of the agreements he sponsored, consider unacceptable.

The meeting broached on the potential catastrophic risks due to the Houthis continuing to prevent United Nations experts from assessing the position of the oil tanker of Safir to avoid a major oil spill and the role expected to be played by Britain and the international community in this aspect.

Dr. Moeen Abdul Malek mentioned the role played by British, that supports the legitimacy and the Yemeni people, as well as its effective movements towards achieving peace and the required movements to be taken in a number of aspects, pointing to the emerging challenges and the government's dealings with them, especially in the economic and health aspects and the urgent support requires from the brothers and friends.

The Prime Minister pointed to the efforts exerted continuously return to the path of implementing the Riyadh Agreement and the realization by all of the gravity of the continuation of the current situation and the need for political compatibility, stressing that any escalation will not be in the interest of achieving this goal and the need to deal seriously with the efforts of the brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

In his turn, the British ambassador expressed appreciation for the positive interaction by the government and the Arab Alliance that supports the legitimacy represented in responding to the international calls for a ceasefire and its approval of the UN envoy's proposals to resume the political process, noting the ongoing moves regarding the rescue of the oil tank Safir and avoiding an imminent environmental catastrophe.
