The army and security forces, with the support of the men of the Aabidah tribe, in the Wadi Marib Directorate, today, Monday, announced the end of the military processes they carried out against elements outside the law and order that had a direct link in the implementation of terrorist and sabotage operations.

In a statement, the joint military campaign to track down subversive elements in the Wadi Marib Directorate, Marib Governorate, stated that the subversive elements were working with all means to destabilize security and stability and disturb the public tranquility in Marib Governorate in a manner that serves the objectives of the militias of the coup and insurrection.

The campaign announced the end of the military operation in its early hours, stressing that these criminal elements, led by the so-called Mohsen Saleh Subay'iyan, were involved in sabotage and attacks on the army and checkpoints in the Wadi Directorate. These elements, yesterday evening, attacked a number of citizens of the region and started shooting at them, and accordingly, the army and security forces were forced to intervene and deal firmly with those elements who were satisfied to be a tool to implement agendas that seek to spread destruction, ruin and terrorism, and harm the security and stability of the governorate and its vital facilities.

The leadership of the military campaign confirmed that the operation succeeded in removing civilians from any harm. This operation resulted in the martyrdom of two members of the army and security forces and the Aabidah tribe, and the injury of four. This operation also resulted in the killing of eight subversive elements and seizures of weapons and other things.

The statement revealed the finding of a number of documents that contain the names of the entities and persons associated with the cell, among these names are a number of those accused of committing various sabotage acts, pointing out that all seizures and documents will be referred to the security services to carry out their role in examining the seizures and pursuing the elements associated with that terrorist cell.

The statement explained that the information available to the relevant agencies and the results of previous investigations have demonstrated that these elements had a direct link with the sabotage gangs and the rebel Houthi militia. And those elements have previously been involved in sabotage, highway robbery, armed robbery, and the interception of cars and trucks belonging to the Arab Alliance. These elements have also been implicated in the implementation of a number of crimes, including planting explosive devices, assassinating military and security leaders, cooperating with merchants of contraband, smuggling weapons and military-industrial materials for drones and other weapons and sending them to the militias in Sana'a and Saada, in addition to these elements being involved in several crimes, including cooperating with the Houthi militia and providing information to the elements of the coup.

The statement praised the leadership of the armed forces and security services, in addition to the role of the tribesmen and their national stances represented in supporting the army and security in their battle against the Houthi coup militia and the sacrifices they make in order to defend the revolution, the republic, and the national constants.

It stressed that the armed forces and security services will not tolerate any attempts aimed at destabilizing security and stability in the Marib Governorate and the liberated areas and that they will strike with an iron hand for anyone intending to manipulate security and disturb the public tranquility.
