The President of the Republic, Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi, held today, Saturday, a meeting with his advisory body and members of the Presidency of the House of Representatives, in the presence of his deputy Lieutenant General Ali Mohsen Saleh, Speaker of the House of Representatives Sheikh Sultan al-Barakani and Prime Minister Dr. Moeen Abdul Malik, to discuss the novel developments on the national scene, with their both political and field sides.

According to Saba, the official Yemeni news agency, the President of the Republic welcomed everyone, stressing the importance of this meeting to discuss the overall developments in the Yemeni arena in its various aspects and forms.

At the meeting, he said, "Our purposes are clear because we want a secure and stable federal Yemen, where its sons live under a fair and rational state, the state of equality, and for that, we have therefore identified an honorable national struggle aimed at ending the coup led by the Iranian Houthi militia, restoring the state, resuming our political consensual course and just comprehensive peace based on the three references represented in the Gulf initiative, the outcomes of the Comprehensive National Dialogue, the UN Resolution No. 2216 and other relevant resolutions."

He added, "Our acceptance of the Riyadh Agreement and the need to implement it fully, as stated in the last article therein without selection or fragmentation, came from our firm conviction because it represents the safe way out to end the causes, manifestations and repercussions of the armed rebellion in the interim capital of Aden and some liberated areas, so that the priority is for the supreme national interest, uniting efforts to confront the Houthi coup and assimilating everyone in the framework of the state and its military, security and civil institutions, but unfortunately its implementation has been stalled for a long time as a result of the continuation of escalatory practices, foremost of which the declaration of the so-called (The Autonomous Administration of the South) and what emerged from it, the most recent of which what the governorate of Socotra Archipelago witnessed of a rebellion against the state and its institutions and attacks on its peaceful innocent citizens, this peaceful safe island in which not a single bullet was fired.

His Excellency pointed out that what is regrettable and saddened in the soul is to watch these armored vehicles, military equipment and vehicles storming state institutions and intimidating the peaceful people on the peaceful island of Socotra, while these military mechanisms should have been centered on the highland of Thura and the mountains of the Hasha, Sirwah, Nim, al-Baydha and Qaa' al-Hawban, where our big battle is taking place, our true enemy, the epics of our heroes who fight the most amazing tournaments and ransom our dear homeland with their pure blood.

The President of the Republic stressed that resorting to arms and power to achieve personal gains, or passing class, regional or partisan projects would not be acceptable, nor would achieve a goal for its owners, and our Yemeni people will always be present to defend their republican regime and its national gains, and there is no force, no matter what it is, can overcome the people.

His Excellency called on the elements of the so-called Southern Transitional Council to take advantage of the sincere and large efforts made by our brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to return to the path of implementing the Riyadh Agreement, calling on them to stop the bloodshed and miss the opportunity for those who are waiting the Yemeni people and stop the escalation and attacks, and sincere and serious return to the implementation of the Riyadh Agreement, indicating that he had instructed to fully abide by the cease-fire in Abyan in response to the efforts of the brothers to provide the opportunity for those efforts to end the rebellion against the state and its institutions and resume the implementation of the Agreement.

The President of the Republic saluted our brave men and our brave heroes in the armed forces and the popular resistance, who are achieving victories in various fighting fronts to defeat the oppressive militias that have caused great ruin to the country and caused the pain of its sons.

His Excellency the President said, "We have extended our hands for peace every time, and we have gone to many consultations under the auspices of the United Nations, and we have carried with us only the aspirations of our people to end the suffering they witnessed as a result of the brutal war caused by the coup militias, and in a manner that leads to achieving a comprehensive and sustainable peace in accordance with the three political references, but each time these militias resorted to breaking the agreements, breaking the covenants, more escalation and crimes against civilians and attacking cities, and taking our country as a base to target our brothers with Iranian missiles and drones. Now, here they are, facing international calls for a cease-fire and the focus of efforts to confront the Corona epidemic with more brutal escalation, especially on the fighting fronts in the governorates of Sana'a, al-Jawf, Marib and al-Baydha, where the heroes of the National Army and tribesmen register pages of heroism and redemption.

The President of the Republic pointed out that there are great challenges facing the Yemeni people, which were created by economic conditions, whether in services or an outbreak of the Corona pandemic and the outlaw practices that interfere in the work of state institutions to impede them from carrying out their tasks, which requires the coalescence of efforts of all the people of Yemen and their living forces and local and central authorities and strengthening channels of communication with brothers and friends in a way that alleviates through which the burden of these challenges and enhances the economic, relief, healthy, development and security situation for the state.

He added, "These threats and dangers facing the country require all political and social parties and forces to play their role in strengthening the national rank, strengthening its cohesion, and avoiding small differences and short-sighted positions because history will have no mercy on anyone, and the eye of the people is open and watchs everything. This is our country, this is our homeland and it is in our custody, and we all have to preserve its supreme, republican, federal from Medi to Mahra, and from Saada to Hadramawt. "

At the meeting, the President of the Republic expressed his happiness with this meeting, which is held in order to discuss the situations witnessed by our country and to identify the overall challenges and risks facing our country in these difficult circumstances and the critical stage of its history, in which the enemies and the adventurous, who wanted to exploit its conditions to achieve personal, class, regional, or sectarian gains, and cumulating its pain and tragedy without conscience or inhumanity.

And His Excellency the President saluted the sons of the great Yemeni people in all the governorates, cities, villages, plains and mountains, who are looking to end these tragedies and pain, our great people who are suffering from these difficult conditions imposed by the rebel coup militia on the people of the Yemeni people.

His Excellency the President reaffirmed the depth and strength of our relationship with the brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, saying, "We face great and common challenges that need a lot of coordination and patience and work seriously to confront and overcome them. I sincerely thank and appreciate my brother the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and his loyal Crown Prince His Royal Highness Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, and they who are and still embody fraternal sincere attitudes keen on stopping the bloodshed of our Yemeni people and seeking to preserve the security, stability and unity of Yemen, and who stand with us in all difficult circumstances, so I greet them in my name and the name of Yemen, its people and leadership.

The President of the Republic saluted heroes of our white army, including doctors and medical teams in all governorates, foremost of which is our dear capital, Sana'a, and our interim capital, Aden, who stand together in the face of the Coronavirus, which kills the sons of our Yemeni people, so, a sincere greeting to them. Mercy to the heroic martyrs. Hoping the speedy recovery of the wounded, the freedom to our brave prisoners, and the glory to our people, as well as the highness to our lofty Yemeni homeland.

For his part, Vice President Lieutenant-General Ali Mohsen Saleh presented a summary of the field and military situation on various fronts and the sacrifices of the national army and popular resistance and the provision of martyrs and wounded in the defense of the country with the support of brothers in the Arab Alliance supporting the legitimacy led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the face of the rebellion and coup forces of the Iranian Houthi militia.

The Prime Minister, Dr. Moeen Abdulmalik, had submitted a brief report in which he dealt with the reality of the current economic situation in light of the war and the great difficulties and burden of the Corona pandemic, pointing out the government's efforts in this regard with the directives of His Excellency the President, which the government is working hard to exceed that according to the available resources and capabilities to provide the necessary and urgent requirements for the citizen.

In the meeting, all the attendants spoke at length about the reality of Yemen, the unity of the rank, transcending challenges and supporting the efforts exerted by His Excellency the President and his benign instructions emanating from his responsibilities towards his country and his people, praising what was included in his speech addressed to the meeting and through it to the entire Yemeni people.
