Yesterday, Saturday, the Yemeni Ministry of Health condemned the targeting of a number of hospitals in various governorates of the Republic by the Houthi militia supported by Iran, the most recent of which was the targeting of the government hospital in the al-Jafra area located in Mafrak al-Jawf, as well as the Saudi field hospital in Marib governorate, which are working to provide medical services for the displaced.

In a statement published by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the ministry expressed its amazement at the silence of international organizations working in the humanitarian field, which did not even issue a statement of condemnation or define its clear and explicit stance towards this criminal act.

It pointed out that targeting hospitals by the militia is a flagrant violation of international conventions and norms and the previous similar incidents by targeting facilities, ambulance crews and health workers. Stressing the need for international organizations not to stand idly by in relation to the terrorist Houthi militia crimes.

The statement emphasized that targeting hospitals that work to help the displaced patients in Marib governorate in addition to providing their humanitarian services reflects the extent of their moral bankruptcy and indicates the fall of its human values to register its name and aptly in the category of violators of the law ... stressing that such criminal acts are not accepted by religion or law.
