The Yemeni government strongly condemned the continuation of the Houthi coup militia in its bloody massacres against civilians, the latest of which is the hideous terrorist crime took place Wednesday evening, targeting the al-Rawda residential neighborhood of Marib city with a ballistic missile, which led to killing innocent people, mostly children and women.

In a press statement, the government stressed that the UN and international laxity in implementing their binding decisions and turning a blind eye to these terrorist crimes that are frequently committed by the Houthi militias against civilians, children and women encourage them to continue in their criminal approach and project, which represents the other side of terrorist organizations, the top of which the ISIS and al-Qaeda.

It stressed that the time has come for the international community and the United Nations to take a clear and frank stance on these horrific terrorist acts and the worsening humanitarian catastrophe in Yemen due to the practices of the coup militias and not being satisfied with shy condemnations.

The statement explained that completing the end of the coup and restoring the state and applying the references of the locally and internationally agreed political solution represented in the Gulf Initiative and its Executive Mechanism, the outputs of the National Dialogue and Security Council Resolution No. 2216, is the only way to confront the current and future dangers of this rebel militia at the local, regional and international levels.

The government considered that these criminal assaults and the recent military escalation prove once again the terrorist nature of the Houthi militia and its sectarian project whose objectives go beyond the Yemeni borders to serve the Iranian regime, which evades international isolation through its proxies and armed groups in the region, of which the Houthi militias in Yemen.

The government pointed out that relying on the militias' tendency to peace and giving priority to the interests of Yemen and its people is nothing but a deceptive and misleading bet, and that the decision of these militias is no longer in their hands and they only move according to the agenda and interests of the Iranian regime.

The government expressed its condolences to the families of the casualties, pledging that their innocent blood and all the martyrs of the homeland would be anguish for the Houthi militias and will pay the price and will not escape punishment sooner or later.

It emphasized that the popular rally around the constitutional legitimacy led by His Excellency President Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi, President of the Republic and with the support of the Arab Alliance supporting the legitimacy, led by the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the sacrifices of the heroes of the National Army and Popular Resistance, are more determined than ever before to complete the eradication of the Iran proxies project in Yemen.

The Minister of Information, Muammar al-Iryani, has expressed his condemnation of the brutal and heinous terrorist crime committed by Tehran's mercenaries "Houthi militia" by launching a ballistic missile that targeted the populated neighborhood of al-Rawda in the city of Marib, which resulted in the injury of six people, including women and children, three of them their injuries are serious, and searches for missing persons under the rubble are still continue.

In a statement to Saba news agency, the Minister al-Iryani pointed out that the city of Marib and its sons, and the city that hosts more than two million displaced who fled the brutality of Houthi terrorism are subject to repeated attacks by bombing with ballistic missiles and drones - Iranian-made - in light of the silence followed by the international community and the failure of the UN envoy to Yemen Martin Griffiths in condemning and stopping these attacks.

Al-Iryani called on the Special Envoy to Yemen Martin Griffiths to leave the square of silence and expose the escalations practiced by the Houthi militia and its daily crimes against civilians to the United Nations and the Security Council, stressing that the continuation of this dubious silence raises question marks and prompts the government to take appropriate steps towards this neglect.
