The American Associated Press Agency revealed Wednesday that "a US Navy warship, managed to confiscate a ship loaded with parts of Iranian missiles were destined for the Houthi militia in Yemen."

The Agency quoted the remarks by US officials, who declined to be identified.

The sources said that the US Navy and the US Coast Guard teams, on Wednesday stopped a small ship, in the north of the Sea of Arabia, and found Iranian weapons in.

The sources explained that the parts of these missiles were sophisticated components, which indicates that the Houthis for the first time get such."

"This incident illustrates the continuing illegal arms smuggling to the Houthis," the officials said.

According to US officials, during its routine naval patrols, the warship "USS Forrest Sherman" managed to observe a small boat, with a group of sailors and does not fly the flag of any country.

They added, "The navy and coast guard stopped the boat and searched it and find those weapons."

US officials did not provide the exact number of such rockets or their parts, but merely described them as a "big treasure", because they would have transferred techniques to the Houthis that had not reached them before.

US forces dragged the boat to the nearby coasts secured by the Yemeni coastguard, and Iranian weapons were transferred to the US ship.

The American magazine "Newsweek" has published a long report, in which it mentioned that Iran is currently using "drones" to control US military sites and a number of other military and security sites in the Middle East.

The American magazine quoted US military personnel in the Middle East: "The use of force for Iranian foreign operations, so-called drones suicide."

Military and intelligence officials told the magazine Newsweek, who declined to be identified: "US forces began to employ new technologies to overcome drones, especially those using C4i (control of headquarters, communications and computers) near US positions in the region."

"This activity also indicates that a number of Iranian-friendly regional militias that operate under orders from the Qods Corps, are conducting surveys in preparation for future attacks using drones," US officials said.

A senior Pentagon official said there were signs of possible future hostilities by Iran amid mounting tensions between the Islamic Republic and the United States.

John Rudd, the Pentagon's third-ranking official, told reporters that the United States had concerns about possible Iranian behavior but did not provide details of the information on which those concerns were based or how far a timetable is, according to Reuters.
