Today Yemen celebrates the 52nd anniversary of the glorious Independence Day, which crowned the struggles of the heroes and the rebels who recorded the most magnificent lines on the pages of the national struggle and achieved the dream of independence and the evacuation of the last British soldier from Aden on 30 November 1967.

On this occasion, the Yemeni Islah Party congratulates all the Yemeni people and their political leadership represented by President Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi. This occasion, which has its place in the heart of every patriotic believer in the principles of national struggle, on which the glorious October 14 Revolution was crowned by the glorious Independence Day, in which we live the memory of the championships of revolutionaries and martyrs who instilled their dreams in the depth of the Yemeni land represented in the project of the national state built on the ruins of a scattered political reality that was one of the reasons for the continuation of foreign domination and the loss of national sovereignty.

Yemenis have chosen Aden as their interim alternative capital after the occupation of their political capital, Sana'a. The Yemeni people hoped to see Aden has turned into a beehive of security and stability as a model for a central city and an economic center that attracts investments, so as to contribute to raising the standard of living of the citizen and the destination of the hearts of all Yemenis in order to work to abetment the rest of the governorate to the uprising against the Iranian militia and then it becomes a springboard for the liberation of Sana'a and the rest of the governorate that is still under the control of the Houthi militia, but this did not happen because of raising differences within the legitimacy front, although these differences cannot be compared with the differences of Yemenis with the imamate, which threatens the present and the future of all without exception.

The Yemeni people have been subjected to an all-out war by the Houthi militia that overthrew its capital and state and has not yet been able to overcome the case of chaos that resulted from this coup, which makes any other conflicts necessarily serve the survival of an entire people without a state, system and capital with all the loss of rights, loss of sovereignty and lack of decent living conditions for citizens. We do not think that a wise person is pushing the country towards this grim fate. And on the occasion of this great anniversary, we, in the Yemeni Islah Party, call to review the policies and attitudes that go against the goals of the revolution and independence, recalling a reality that our people have exceeded with their revolution and huge sacrifices.

On the anniversary of the evacuation, we stress the right of citizens in all the liberated areas, especially Aden, to feel security in their city and governorate and to find basic services that will come only through stability and the demilitarization of cities, especially Aden, which as the capital is supposed to be open to all the people of the homeland and free of violations that detract from human dignity and restore political life in it and the parties are able to open their headquarters to exercise their activities and stop the state of the ban on political action, which made Aden has lost its openness and turned into a closed place on one political faction, which makes us lose stability that we all seek as the first and most important conditions of, which is the respect for political pluralism and the right of expression and difference.

Here, we reaffirm the importance of expediting the implementation of the Riyadh Agreement, so that state institutions and their authorities can exercise their functions from the interim capital of Aden, provide services to citizens, extend their authority to establish security and stability, enforce law and order, unify efforts towards completing liberation, restoring the state and overthrowing the Houthi coup.

On this great occasion, We reiterate congratulations to the Yemeni people, their leadership, the army, security and all national forces, asking God to give it back at the time Yemen is achieved what it wants.
