A statement issued by the Yemeni Islah Party in Shabwa governorate

Praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds, and peace and blessings be upon the Prophet.

While our Yemeni people celebrate the two glorious revolutions of the 26th September and the 14th October and the anniversary of the evacuation of the British colonial on 30 November, we, in the Yemeni Islah Party in Shabwa governorate, wish to congratulate our people in whole homeland and their political leadership represented by the President of the Republic Field Marshal Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi and the leadership of the local authority and the sons of Shabwa governorate.

The festivals of the revolution that represented a victory for the liberation values from the tyranny of the invading colonial and the obnoxious priesthood come at a time when the homeland is undergoing important transformations. Iranian Houthi militias still continue its coup against the state, practicing their crimes and barbaric aggression and seeking to obliterate the identity and history of the Yemeni people. These militias practice the most heinous crimes of murder, displacement, arrest, torpedoing values against our people as well as their dependence on Iran. On the other hand, there are regional militias that inspire from the Houthi militias all the behavior of aggression against the state and its institutions and the innocent and their rights and dignity and the values of coexistence and tolerance. And with the full support of the UAE, these militias carried out a coup against the state and waged war against its institutions and camps of the National Army and also looted its equipment, liquidating opponents and bulldozing life in the city of peace and the interim capital Aden. These militias continued their aggression against the rest of the governorates, including Shabwa governorate, where the coup project of the Transitional Council militias included this governorate, which was confronted by the national army and security forces and was foiled to prove Shabwa again, as it resisted and defeated the sectarian project of the Houthi militias, that it is also able to triumph over Segmenting and subordination projects.

Sons of Shabwa governorate:

We have been in the Yemeni Islah Party and we are still an integral part of the composition of society in this governorate, where we live their worries and pains and cooperate with all our partners of its people and its forces and components to maintain it. During the past years, the voice of reason and wisdom in Shabwa was the audible sound and the spirit of consensus is prevalent. And Shabwa was coming out victorious and unified from every crisis and all events prove that Shabwa is too big to be led by one party and that the allegation of representation and authorization is a lie, in which the abolition of the other is impossible.

During the past months, We have lived in Shabwa major events and variables since the leadership of the Transitional Council and with the full support of the United Arab Emirates began the establishment of armed battalions and militias in the governorate and supporting them with equipment and various types of weapons to overthrow and control the state, reaching the implementation of this scheme on the ground and carrying out a rebellion against the army and security forces and waging war on the state and its institutions, which was confronted by the army and security and was failed. And in front of these events, during which the militias of the Transitional Council and their media to promote falsehood, misinformation and spread lies that aim at offending the Yemeni Islah Party, we believe that it is necessary that we have to clarify to the public opinion the following:

1 - We in the Reform Party believe that the project of the state and its institutions and its cohesion is the guarantee for the country from falling and collapse, and we have repeatedly warned of the existence of entities parallel to the state or militias outside the framework of the state, even if at one time they seem to be able to achieve gains, they finally are time bombs that quickly explode in the body of the homeland to harm it, and therefore our choice, which we do not deviate from it, is the absolute rejection of the existence of any military and security formations outside the framework of the state.

2_ We emphasize that what is promoted by the misleading media of the description of the military and security establishment as militias or that the Islah Party has armed militias is pure slander aimed at abusing the national army and security forces to diminish their role in protecting the governorate.

3_ We emphasize the importance of the State to build the army and security forces nationally, support and rehabilitation to play their role in protecting the security of citizens and their interests. And we appreciate the positive step and wise instructions issued by His Excellency President Marshal Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi in absorbing the youth of the elite within the framework of the security and military institution.

4_ We welcome all the positive steps taken by the local authority in the governorate represented in the Governor Mr. Muhammad Saleh bin Adio to remove all traces of recent events and open a new page of reconciliation and harmony. And we stress the importance of turning the page of the past and going ahead towards the project of construction and development of the governorate. And in this regard, we demand the quick release of any prisoner and referred to the judiciary.

5_We strongly condemn all acts of violence and chaos, targeting the army and security forces, planting explosives and blowing up oil pipelines. We demand that those involved in these acts and the instigated be referred to the judiciary. And we emphasize that targeting public interests is an attack on all Shabwa people.

6_ We are following with interest all the positive steps in which the local authority in the governorate is moving towards preserving the resources of the governorate and directing them towards development projects that benefit the citizen. We emphasize the need to activate the state institutions and offices of branches of ministries and institutions to play their role in serving the citizen and the need to provide and improve services.

7_ We stress the importance of the parties, political forces and components to do their important role in the formulation of common positions that protect the governorate from the differences and establish political and civil work. And in this context, we affirm our belief in the right of all political forces to express their views with all tools of guaranteed expression that do not undermine the security or establish chaos.

8_ On the anniversary of the forty days of the brutal bombing of the Emirates warplanes, which targeted the national army forces at the entrance of the temporary capital of Aden, we beg God to have mercy on the martyrs, stressing that the attack was a deep wound that will remain engraved in the body of Yemen with what this incident represented from a flagrant deviation from the tasks of the Arab Alliance to support the legitimacy.

9_ The leading role of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has been present in all the details of the Yemeni scene, and we affirm our confidence in the Kingdom's ability to deal wisely with the details of the Yemeni reality. In this context, we believe that the Kingdom's invitation to the Yemeni parties to dialogue in Jeddah is an important step towards unifying the position to confront the Iranian project.

10. Constitutional legitimacy represented by His Excellency Brother Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi, President of the Republic is the spearhead in the face of sectarian and regional projects and that prejudice with it and its symbolism at this time, in which the people and his leadership is engaged in an open war with Houthi militias is a free service to the militias and we condemn the media campaign directed against the President for his solid positions in adhering to the national constants and not to neglect them.

11_ We in the Islah Party emphasize our rejection of the letter of antagonism, which targets the national forces and provokes hatred, and we call on all media and social media to recognize the extent of damage caused by hate speech in society.

Finally, we in the Yemeni Islah Party emphasize on the path taken by the Islah through civil political action based on national values, opening to all partners of national action and believing in the right of all forces and components in the national arena to provide their visions and projects away from the claims of guardianship and exclusion, which was the main reason in creating conflicts.
