Adnan Al-Audaini, Deputy Head of the Information and Culture Department of the Yemeni Islah Party, met this morning with the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Yemen Vladimir Dwedoshkin.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways to strengthen relations between the Islah Party and Russian friends, in order to strengthen the historical relations between the two countries and the two friendly peoples.

Al-Audaini appreciated the efforts of the Russian ambassador and his country's support for the legitimacy, as well as its efforts to find a political solution in Yemen.

Al-Audain affirmed the vision of the Islah Party within the framework of the legitimacy and its desire to achieve peace based on the three references, which guarantee a permanent peace, pointing out that the road to a lasting and comprehensive peace requires ending the reasons that led to the war of the coup.

He noted that peace would not be achieved with arms in the hands of the armed militias targeting State institutions in the north and south.

At the same time, he stressed the role of the international community in supporting the legitimacy to block rebel armed groups.

For his part, Russian Ambassador Vladimir Dwedoshkin praised the great role played by the Islah Party in Yemeni political life, pointing to the friendly relations with the leaders of the Islah Party since the announcement of the establishment of the Party.

He stressed his country's keenness to achieve peace in Yemen and its readiness to exert any efforts in this regard in order to achieve security and stability through a political solution.
