Information Minister, Muammar al-Eryani, said that the Southern Transitional Council affirms its continuation in the coup scenario and ignores the efforts made by the brothers in Saudi Arabia to contain the events in the governorate of Aden and return to normalcy.

In a series of tweets on his account on Twitter, al-Eryani mentioned that the Southern Transitional Council is seeking to control the rest of the southern governorates in the service of Iran's subversive agenda in Yemen and the region.

Al-Eryani pointed out that the Transitional Council's actions in the interim capital of Aden were not only a coup against the legitimate government, a threat to the social fabric and hit the national project, but also a strike on the Arab stance that resists Iranian schemes that aimed at destabilizing security and settlement of the region and its tool represented in the Houthi militia.

Al-Eryani affirmed that any passing or identification with the coup of the Transitional Council in Aden in this circumstance would invalidate the legitimacy of confronting the Houthi coup in Sana'a, and invalidate the justifications for the intervention of the Arab Alliance supporting the legitimacy to confront the Houthi militia coup against the Yemeni government elected by all the Yemeni people with its geographical borders and legal sovereignty.

He added, "As we have faced the Iranian Houthi militia, we will face any armed formations outside the framework of the army and security establishment and we warn of its future repercussions and they are the seeds of violence, chaos and civil war.

Al-Eryani reiterated the government's confidence in Saudi Arabia and our full support for their efforts to end the coup and contain the events in the governorate of Aden, pointing out that the position of the leadership and government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia are clear and consistent in supporting the unity, security and stability of Yemen.

At the same time, the so-called "Southern Transitional Council" continues to refuse to abide by the Arab Alliance's statement issued on the eve of the completion of the control of Aden by the Transitional Council, stressing that it will not withdraw from state institutions and camps.
