A child, aged two years, was shot by snipers of the Houthi militia in al-Tahita district south of Hodeidah. Local sources said that the militia snipers targeted the citizens who gathered in front of a health center to receive children's nutrition in the area and wounded a child who was standing next to his mother to receive the food.

Medical sources at the field hospital confirmed in al-Tahita added that the child named Dhaifallah Najib Dakhan, aged 1 year and seven months, was shot in his right foot by a Houthi sniper and was rushed to the field hospital for receiving first aid.

It is noteworthy that the rate of Huthi crimes against civilians of men, women and children in Hodeidah and the West Coast has increased significantly since the entry into force of the UN humanitarian truce in Hodeidah, amid the silence of the international community, which encourages the militia to continue and commit more of these violations and terrorist crimes.
